We believe that all neighborhoods, especially those with limited transportation access and poor health outcomes, deserve quality places to live, work and play and access to physical activity. With the support of the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City, BikeWalkKC will expand our Safe Routes to School program to create networks of care that serve the wider community.

BLAST Kids on Bike Program Rolls into Olathe
Over 4,000 kids from 30 elementary schools have graduated from BikeWalkKC’s BLAST program since we started in 2012, and this fall we are excited to bring BLAST to four new schools in the Olathe School District.
Sidewalk and Road Diet Coming to Mission Road in KCK
A much-needed road diet and new sidewalk are finally under construction on Mission Road in the Rosedale area of KCK. We are excited to see a new pedestrian connection for Rosedale Park and Frank Rushton Elementary School!
