BikeWalkKC Members are supporter that have made a financial donation in the last 365 days. Our Members help advocate for public spaces that make walking and biking easy and safe choices for everyone. Join the movement to get more people of all ages and backgrounds walking, running, riding, and rolling in our region! Plus, our members get exclusive invitations to BikeWalkKC Members-Only events, like behind-the-scenes tours and sneak-peeks of the projects, arts, and services that make Kansas City a great place to live. How to give to BikeWalkKC
- Online: Make a one-time gift or set up a sustaining monthly gift with a credit card or automatic bank draft.
- Write a check payable to BikeWalkKC and mail it to: BikeWalkKC, 1106 East 30th Street, Suite G, Kansas City MO 64109.
- If you participate in the United Way Workplace Giving Campaign, you can direct any portion of your United Way gift to BikeWalkKC. Here’s how.
- If you have a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) at a local community foundation or financial institution, you can direct a gift from your DAF to BikeWalkKC.
- Ask your manager or HR officer if your company has an employee matching gift program. Many employers will match your gift 1:1! More info here.
Gift Memberships for family and friends
Do you know someone who is passionate about sustainability and active transportation? Instead of driving a car, would they rather walk, ride, run, roll, or take public transit to get where they need to go? - Subscribe to our mailing lists: Sign up to receive our monthly newsletter full of walking and biking news events, and select topics like Advocacy Alerts or Safe Routes to School to dive deeper with BikeWalkKC and take action for safer streets.
- Consign your gear to benefit BikeWalkKC: Consign your pre-loved outdoor gear and clothing under BikeWalkKC’s account at Big Muddy Gear Exchange. When your tent or cycling shoes sell, BikeWalkKC receives the proceeds! Consigned goods are not tax-deductible donations-- read the rest of the fine print on our blog.
- Donate a bike to BikeWalkKC: We need your help providing bicycles to youth and adultstudents who participate in our Maintain Your Ride program. Since 2012, BikeWalkKC has given out hundreds of bicycles to Kansas City area riders. Email education@bikewalkkc.org to donate a bike!
- Volunteer: BikeWalkKC relies on hard-working and fun-loving volunteers to help deliver our programs and events.
- Shop our store: Proudly support BikeWalkKC with apparel and accessories from our Spreadshirt store!
- Attend an event: Browse our Community Calendar for events and programs from BikeWalkKC and our local partners. Email info@bikewalkkc.org to submit your own event to the calendar.

Get a Bike Rack
We've teamed up with Dero to help local schools, businesses, and communities meet the growing demand for bike parking. BikeWalkKC will help customers navigate Kansas City’s bike parking standards and permits, recommend quality bike racks to best meet their needs, and offer free site visits. BikeWalkKC can even help with customized bike parking designs!
