North Kansas City Bicycle Master Plan
BikeWalkKC led a consulting team in the creation of the first bike plan for this small suburb that is quickly becoming a center of bicycling and bike culture for the KC region. The award-winning plan was funded by MARC's Planning Sustainable Places program and local matching funds. Read more.
Go Grandview
BikeWalkKC worked closely with City of Grandview staff, Aldermen and community members to navigate the city’s first walking and biking strategic plan, with funding from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. The Go Grandview plan was adopted as part of the city’s comprehensive plan in March 2022. Shortly thereafter, Grandview residents approved the release of funding that will serve as the initial investment into improvements along the Priority Network to create a safe and connected community. Reimagining 47th Place Complete Streets Plan
BikeWalkKC’s involvement in this planning process brought the proposed recommendations to life with an all day pop up demonstration event that included brightly painted crosswalks, protected bike lanes, streetside cafe seating, and food and beverage vendors. Funding for the project included MARC's Planning Sustainable Places program and local match from the City of Westwood, KS. Read more.
