The Go Grandview Walking and Biking Strategy presents a plan for a more complete sidewalk and trail network in the City of Grandview. Through a fusion of community input and data analysis, a Priority Network of walking and biking improvements was adopted that focuses on safe, comfortable, continuous infrastructure connecting important destinations. The Walking and Biking Strategy provides a comprehensive and phased approach to implementing this network with recommendations for design, funding, and project delivery that provide a feasible path to a more walkable and bikeable community. The Walking and Biking Strategy was adopted following the plan’s completion, effectively adding it to the Comprehensive Plan as an appendix. 

Since then, Grandview residents also approved the release of funding that will serve as the initial investment into improvements along the Priority Network to create a safe and connected community. 

BikeWalkKC had the opportunity to continue supporting Grandview by creating a wayfinding plan that community members could use to trust they were on a safe path that would take them to various destinations throughout the city.
