Together with our partners in the Healthy Communities Wyandotte Policy Committee, BikeWalkKC is advocating for the adoption of a Complete Streets ordinance as a means of improving the built environment and health outcomes in Wyandotte County.
In the age of COVID-19, such legislation has taken on increased significance as a means of supporting frontline workers and giving people stuck at home additional ways to exercise and enjoy their communities.
As the Unified Government considers moving forward with Complete Streets, it is important that residents and community stakeholders make their voices heard. Share your travel habits and your ideas for building a transportation network that addresses some of the broader challenges we face.
