Share Your Thoughts on the Metcalf Transit Study!

As the issue of public transit becomes more pressing in Johnson County, more work is beginning to happen to help chart a course for what the future could look like. That includes the Metcalf corridor study which is currently underway.

Johnson County is partnering with the City of Overland Park, the Mid-America Regional Council and others to organize a study of what fast and frequent transit could look like along this key corridor, but they need your help! Here’s what you can do:

This study is the next step after Johnson County’s Transit Strategic Plan, which recommends more frequent service along Metcalf as a first step.

At BikeWalkKC’s recent Johnson County Transportation Talk event, many attendees asked what more could be done to help move the needle on better transit. Taking the survey (along with expressing your support to local and county elected officials) is critical to building a better transit system that works for everyone in this part of the region.
