Why Ride Kansas City BCycle?

Thanks to our partners at INK Magazine, who have put together this fun article about “5 Reasons BCycle Has Us Pumped to Explore KC!” And of course, we’ve thought of a couple more:

  • We’ve updated our station map to include new locations at the KCMO City Government Center at 12th and Oak, and one at 32nd and Gillham Road. Now with 41 stations (and counting!), our interconnected system can get you to where you want to go – it’s fun, fast, and affordable. Click here to view the complete station map.
  • Now you can keep the bike all day! We’ve implemented a 24-hour pass that lets you check out a bike and ride it, uninterrupted, for a whole day. Click here to learn more about our rates and membership options.
  • Your membership works in other cities: Annual members can use their BCycle card/fob at 22 other B cities around the country. Click here for details.
  • There’s an app for that: To view all stations, plan your route, and search for available bikes, download the BCycle app.

Blazing the Trail: Maggie Priesmeyer

BikeWalkKC’s director of programs, Maggie Priesmeyer, has been selected as one of INK’s 2017 class of “30 Under 30.” This annual recognition is for KC-area visionary professionals who are making a difference in the region. Maggie, who began her career at BikeWalkKC as a volunteer when the organization was just-founded, says, “I feel very fortunate for the opportunities that have come my way, but I am also very driven and motivated through my work to make Kansas City a better place to live.” As her colleagues and friends, we are so proud of Maggie and the impact she has had with our education programs, the Women Bike KC initiative, and the 816 Bicycle Collective. Click here to read Maggie’s story.

Be a Bike/Walk Champion
