We are pleased to announce that, in partnership with Port KC, the 2020 Tour de Bier KC will roll from KC Berkley Riverfront Park on Sunday, August 9. With easy access to bike routes heading east, west, north, and south, plus fabulous views of our city, the venue will provide Tour de Bier participants a variety of new experiences.
“We’re excited to partner with Port KC this year,” says BikeWalkKC Executive Director Eric Rogers. “The Riverfront is an important part of Kansas City’s brewing heritage, and it’s becoming a popular place for walking and bicycling as well.”
The Tour de Bier will begin at the park, with routes starting on the Riverfront Heritage Trail. After pedaling from brewery to brewery for samples of local beer, riders will return to the Park for an after party, featuring fun vendors, great food, and cold drinks.
As a benefit for BikeWalkKC, the Tour de Bier supports our mission to redefine our streets as places for people to build a culture of active living by funding education programs and advocacy work in municipalities throughout the metro. Thank you, Port KC for sponsoring the 2020 Tour de Bier!
