The League of American Bicyclists has named BikeWalkKC a Platinum Level Bicycle Friendly Business. We are proud to walk our talk in providing education, bike parking, and encouragement to our staff, volunteers, and guests who bike for transportation. As an employer, we appreciate our responsibility in making our city safer and happier. According to the League, “the Bicycle Friendly Business program recognizes organizations for the role they play in the ecosystem of building a more Bicycle Friendly America for everyone.” 
In our region, local honorees include our partners Family Bicycles in Waldo and Rosedale Development Association, UMKC, Shawnee City Hall, REI in Overland Park, and BG Consultants and Anderson Rentals in Lawrence.
