Wednesday, March 18th is Transit Driver Appreciation Day

A great opportunity to thank the hard working professionals who are so vital to Kansas City’s transportation system.

Transit is an increasingly important part of our community, from the popular MAX lines to suburban express routes to next year’s debut of the streetcar starter line. Bikes and buses are a great combination!

  • Bike racks on most buses expand options for two-wheeled commuters
  • 20% of Kansas City B-cycle riders use bike share to connect with transit.
  • Blue Springs and Johnson County offer bike lockers at their park-and-ride lots to keep your bike safe while you are away at work.

Show your appreciation for your bus driver on Wednesday by printing and sharing one of these awesome thank-you cards and using hashtag #TDAD.

Whether you ride the Metro, the JO, the Bus in KCK, IndeBus, or OATS, please join us in thanking your driver on Wednesday, March 18th!
