Construction crews are currently working on the first phase of improvements to the Harry Wiggins Trolley Track Trail that will close a dangerous and long-standing gap in this popular trail. Trail users will no longer need to walk, run, or bike through the parking lot or in the street north of 63rd Street.
This small but important bit of trail is part of a larger project to close the trail gap between 62nd Terrace and Meyer Boulevard, and builds on earlier traffic calmer projects that improved safety from crossing the busy arterials of 63rd Street and Mayer Boulevard.

The second phase south of 63rd Street is currently being designed, but City Hall has not yet budgeted funding to construct it.
