Remember when you helped us win city support for connected trails back in 2023? Thanks to everyone who talked to their neighbors, contacted their city leaders, came to a meeting, and/or signed a petition, the new protected bike and pedestrian infrastructure along Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd is ready to ride!
The next step is evaluating how effective the bike lanes and crosswalks are at encouraging more people to walk and bike, and how they are making the corridor safer for everyone. Have you used the new infrastructure on Cleaver II Blvd in KCMO? Take the survey and let City Hall know how the new crosswalks, protected bike lanes, and other infrastructure features impact your experience walking, biking and/or rolling in Midtown. The survey is open until November 20, 2024.
A special group of volunteers helped us launch the evaluation on October 17. THANK YOU to everyone who collected traffic noise data and surveyed people walking, biking, and rolling along the new infrastructure!
