Green Commute On-Ramp Part 1: Commuter Safety & Handling

Interested in bike commuting, but not sure where to start? Feeling intimidated about riding in traffic? Join WAY TO GO, Women-Led Cycling and All Bodies on Bikes KC for the Green Commute On-Ramp Series. Attend one or both events to equip yourself with the knowledge and real-world practice you need to take on a bike commute with confidence.

Part One will focus on commuter safety and handling. We’ll cover signaling, shifting, scanning for hazards, and hazard maneuvers. The last hour of the event will be a ~7-mile bike ride that will take riders from Waldo to Loose Park and back.
