Bicycling is for anyone and everyone! Let us introduce you to supportive riding groups and learn how they welcome riders of diverse backgrounds, skill sets, and motivations.
Moderator Dede Palmer (Girl Bike Gang) will lead a short conversation with Amber Edmonds (Party Pace Pedalers) and Ivy Brito (Major Taylor Cycling Club of Kansas City). After the panel, we will finish with a group ride suitable for all experience levels, joined by representatives from We Are Velas, Women Cycle KC, Women-Led Cycling, and KC Family Fun Ride! Adults and teens (14-and-up with adult) welcome. Bring your own bike and helmet.
"Inclusive Ride Groups" is part of the 2023 Women's Bike Summit Series. The Women's Bike Summit is a gender-inclusive venue for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together to celebrate bicycling, discuss issues that are relevant and important to people on bikes, and get practical biking experience.
