WBS23: Confident City Cycling

May 20 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Confident City Cycling

Learn new concepts for navigating streets and build practical bike handling skills necessary for city riding! We'll cover both the how and the why of "power pedal," "rock dodge," and more, plus basic rules of the road to help you ride safely and confidently.

Bring your own bike and helmet, because this class includes on-bike skills practice and a group ride suitable for all experience levels. Adults and teens (14-and-up with adult) welcome.

"Confident City Cycling" is part of the 2023 Women's Bike Summit Series. The Women's Bike Summit is a gender-inclusive venue for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together to celebrate bicycling, discuss issues that are relevant and important to people on bikes, and get practical biking experience. Stay tuned for more Women's Bike Summit events coming up in 2023!

BikeWalkKC is grateful to Johnson County Library for supporting the Women's Bike Summit.
