Trail of Mending

An event from Clement Waters

The KC Trail of Mending is a four-day traveling examination of Kansas City's history. On this ceremonial journey, people of all ages will travel across our metro on foot, by wheelchair, by bike, and on horseback. The point is for participants to share hidden histories with each other and find common ground so as to move forward better together.

We're asking to involve all languages of prayer, storytellers, singers of old songs, trail walkers/wheelers/bikers, food providers, volunteers, etc. to have unique expression of humanity's beautiful variety, and for all participants to hear and recognize little known historic facts/stories from communities across the metro. Group overnight camping will be available, with tipis erected at the rest site each night. Horses may be paddocked at the rest sites as well.
