All loans are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Borrowers will be required to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and to provide proof of event insurance.

  • The Traffic Calming Lending Library is intended for projects that demonstrate how re-configuring a street can slow traffic, improve safety, and create new public spaces for people. It is not meant for block parties or other similar events.
  • Please note, we can only provided limit technical assistance on a case-by-case basis. Additional support may be available for a fee. Please explain your needs and we will be in touch to discuss further.

    Please note that depending on the nature of event and type of organization there may be a deposit required to secure the equipment, fees associated with renting the equipment, and proof of event and liability insurance naming BikeWalkKC as an additionally insured party. Borrowers are responsible from picking up and returning materials to the BikeWalkKC office in central Kansas City.
