An event from the Kansas Department of Transportation
Calling all transportation professionals, advocates, and community members! You’re invited to attend the 2025 Walk Bike Roll Kansas Summit, a two-day, in-person event taking place October 29–30, 2025 in Lawrence, Kansas. There are also some pre-meetings and social events on October 28. Attendees will build valuable partnerships as they learn how to improve walking, biking, and rolling in their own communities.
The jam-packed agenda includes sessions on active transportation in Kansas, a crash site analysis, a traffic garden demonstration project, and an overview of active transportation tools and resources — plus optional sessions dedicated to Transportation Alternatives and Safe Routes to School grants. All sessions are designed to provide practical, action-oriented steps for enhancing active transportation options throughout Kansas.
