BikeWalkKC members are invited to a garden party at Project Living Proof, a historic home that has been retrofitted with energy efficient systems and sustainable, water-wise gardens.
Enjoy refreshments while you tour every nook and cranny of the garden and house. From the basement to the attic and over every square foot of yard, homeowners will learn how to reduce their energy consumption and costs; and renters will get tips for how to advocate for improvements with their landlord. Plus, hear about government programs that make those updates more affordable.
BikeWalkKC envisions a sustainable Kansas City, where our air is cleaner and our streets are safer. The Metropolitan Energy Center supports #PlacesforPeople by promoting greener transportation, building standards, and lifestyles.
