Plaza 209 Bike Maintenance & Safety Class
The public is invited to participate in a bike maintenance and safety class at the newly renovated Plaza 209 apartment building. Plaza 209 was originally built as an 83 unit high-rise building back in the 1950’s. It stands on the East side of the Plaza just a few pedals from the Nelson-Atkins Museum and the plethora of shops and stores on the Country Club Plaza. This Plaza high-rise is a short bike ride from UMKC and Rockhurst University.
Plaza 209 hosts its own BCycle station, and annual memberships are FREE for new residents. Plaza 209 also donates $25 to BikeWalkKC for each new signed lease.
Join BikeWalkKC and Plaza 209 to learn bike maintenance and safety skills, and tour the Plaza 209 bike facilities, which include a Bike Storage room complete with work bench, tools, storage lockers, and security cameras.
