Maintain Your Ride: JoCo Library Edition

Join us at the Johnson County Central Resource Library to use the recently installed bicycle fix-it stands and learn bike maintenance skills! Our instructors will teach you how to keep your bike in good working order with a few basic tools and some practical know-how.
Where: Johnson County Central Resource Library
9875 W. 87th St., Overland Park
When: September 18, 2019; 6-8 PM
Who: Adults (and teens 14+ with an adult) who want to learn how to maintain their own bicycle
What: You will learn how to clean and lubricate your chain, fix a flat, adjust shifting and braking, and other basic bike maintenance skills. This is a FREE hands-on class!
NOTE: Our mechanics will not have time to fix your bike if it needs repaired, but we strongly suggest bringing your bike to practice the techniques you learn. And bring us your questions and we’ll address them at the end of class if we have time!
This class is generously sponsored by the Johnson County Library and LiveWell Johnson County.
