Listening Session for Regional Transit Funding

July 28 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

An event from Jackson County legislators

Jackson County legislators are considering a county sales tax to save essential transit services for KC metro residents. But before they put it on the ballot in November, county leaders want to hear from you. Here is their big question: "What do you need from public transit?

In the last few years, every city in the KC metro has cut bus lines because they didn't prioritize funding transit. In Jackson County, Lee's Summit, Raytown, and Independence cut all but one fixed route. Gladstone, Blue Springs, and Grandview canceled their bus services entirely. Our transit network is failing, but it's not too late!
