Independence Avenue Pedestrian Safety Study Open House **

Learn about a new initiative to improve safety for people in the Independence Avenue corridor in the Historic Northeast.

From the KCMO City Planning Department

The City of Kansas City, in coordination with the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) and a Steering Committee of community members, is kicking off the Independence Avenue Pedestrian Safety Improvements Study with a public open house on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

Stop by anytime between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. to review and comment on exhibits that describe Independence Avenue from Forest Avenue to Ewing Avenue in terms of land use, development, and transportation connections. City and Study Team representatives will be present to answer questions and discuss issues, opportunities, and more with community members. Comment online at pedsafety.digicate.com.
