Improve I-70 KC Public Meeting #2

MODOT is hosting two public meetings to gather input, share information, and answer your questions about the planned I70 improvements. Specifically, the meeting will discuss the I-70 Environmental Study Re-Evaluation between The Paseo to east of U.S. 40.

• Tuesday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at the Gregg/Klice Community Center
• Thursday, March 3 at 4 p.m. at the Linwood YMCA

Why this matters

Kansas Citians are all too familiar with the ways highways divide neighborhoods in urban areas. We are asking MODOT to ensure that any redevelopment or improvements include facilities to preserve neighborhoods and connect communities separated by this section of I70. This could include sidewalks over or under the highway to allow people to cross safely.
