Grand Ave. Bridge Ribbon Cutting Celebration

Join the City of Kansas City and the Missouri Department of Transportation to celebrate the new Grand Avenue Bridge at a ribbon-cutting event, 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 2. The new bridge will feature:

·         Bike lanes (buffered on east side and protected on west side)

·         12 foot sidewalks and curb ramps

·         LED lighting

·         Glass and acrylic panels for “Pedestrian Strands” art installation and sound blocking

·         Decorative railing on bike lane protective barrier

·         Seating element on bridge

·         Decorative fencing

·         Vertical illuminated art elements
