Create bicycle accessories in our instructor led workshops, then enjoy a neighborhood group ride with BikeWalkKC. Learn, ride, connect! Nothing shows how much you love your bike while providing a creative outlet like DIY accessories. Join Maker Space staff and BikeWalkKC as we learn how to work the machines to create unique bike flare. After each workshop, we will head out on a short group ride to show it off.
6-7 p.m.: Add style and safety to your bike in this hands-on workshop where you'll decorate 3D-printed clip-ons and fun bike tags—perfect for handlebars, spokes, or backpacks. We'll also demo how these pieces were designed and printed in the Makerspace using beginner-friendly 3D design tools. All materials provided. No experience needed.
7-8 p.m.: Join us after the workshop as we show off our new pieces of bike flare. This is a no-drop group ride & participants need to sign a waiver, as well as bring your own bike. Helmets required and lights required.
