KC Women’s Bike Summit

About the KC Women’s Bike Summit

The KC Women’s Bike Summit is a venue for women, trans, femme, and non-binary people of all ages and backgrounds to come together to celebrate bicycling, discuss issues that are relevant and important to people on bikes, and provide hands-on opportunities for bicyclists to become more confident. We want you and all of your friends to feel comfortable getting on a bicycle in whatever way you want to get on a bicycle. We also want to encourage more folks to participate in their communities as riders and leaders, and bring the nationwide momentum of more people on bikes to Kansas City. Stay connected all year long! Watch for our Women Bike KC events and classes, join the Women Bike KC Facebook group, follow the #womenbikekc hash tag, and be sure to join the mailing list. Expect the next Women’s Bike Summit in 2020!

Thanks to all who participated in
the 4th Regional Women’s Bike Summit!

More than 140 women of all ages and skill levels gathered on Saturday, September 15th for the 4th Regional Women’s Bike Summit at the Southeast Community Center (in partnership with KC Parks & Rec). They arrived ready to learn, network, and get inspired to lead their communities toward healthy, active lifestyles. Read how we bonded over bikes on the blog!

At the 2018 Women’s Bike Summit, we asked attendees to share their bike stories in their own words, in their own voices. We heard from people tall and small and all walks of life. Take a listen!
Have something to say? Tell your own bike story!
