SUMMARY:Walktober: Union Cemetary
DESCRIPTION:Walk\, ride or run a different trail every Sunday in October! The month of October is ideal for exercising outside ~ the temperatures are cool and the colors are spectacular. Walktober makes the most of this great season by inviting participants on a tour of autumn’s most vibrant landscapes and inspiring everyone to make movement a priority!! Dogs on leashes are welcome. Commemorative Walktober buttons\, designed by artist Kevin Worley\, for the first 200 participants at each location. Attend all five events and collect all five designs!  \nEstablished in 1857\, Union Cemetery was located between Westport and the town of Kansas and used by both towns\, becoming a “union” between the two. This Walktober event is a festive afternoon event especially for families\, and costumes are encouraged!
