SUMMARY:Burlington Corridor Complete Streets Open House
DESCRIPTION:For several years\, the City of North Kansas City has been planning improvements to Burlington to create a more attractive\, safe\, and welcoming front door to North Kansas City. The planned improvements are based on the adopted Burlington Corridor Complete Street Plan. \nThe improvements maintain three lanes of traffic flowing in each direction\, with a center turn lane that provides left-turning movements at key intersections. You can review the plan here: www.nkc.org/common/pages/DisplayFile.aspx?itemId=3787579&fbclid=IwAR1cgnUkCJwFzJD-BYPwHsm8vlZ2aaSlwRKKIuOwMt-gI_WauBwpvMChowQ \nThe City has been working with Olsson Associates to complete necessary engineering studies and construction plans for these improvements. \nThe City of North Kansas City will host a public open house meeting to provide information about the Burlington improvements and next steps on Wednesday\, February 12 from 4-7 p.m. at the iWerx event pavilion. Anyone interested in the project can visit the open house at their convenience for an update on this project. \n
