DESCRIPTION:Join BikeWalkKC for a group ride to Kauffman Stadium to see the Royals play the Houston Astros!\n \nDetails\nSunday\, September 15\, 2019\nMeet at 10AM\, ride leaves at 10:30\, game starts at 1:15PM \n\nBring your own bike\, or rent a RideKCBike (pedal or e-bike)\nBring a lock to park at the stadium\nEarly start allows for tailgating (BYO)\nNo-drop ride\nGroup will return together after the game\nReturn ride ends before sunset\nRegister by August 28 for group discount and seating with the group\n\nRide from Theis Park near the Country Club Plaza\nMeet at Theis Park/Kauffman Gardens. Parking is available on the east side of the park at the Kauffman Memorial Gardens (enter from Rockhill Road). Meet by 10AM\, ride leaves at 10:30. It’s an 8 mile or one hour ride to the stadium. We’ll travel mostly on the car-free Brush Creek and Cleaver/Van Brunt Trails\, with some on-street riding. Route Map \n–OR– \nMeet us at the stadium\nWe’ll be parking our bikes at the media fence in Lot B at Kauffman Stadium. Register by August 28 for group discount and seats with the rest of the group.
