Request the Home Street Home Exhibit

The exhibit can be borrowed for use in your community meeting, classroom, or other educational event. Home Street Home is a large scale exhibit that requires advance planning for sites, logistics, and set-up/tear-down. There are also options to borrow pieces of the exhibit. Depending on the nature of the organization and/or event, there may be fees involved.

    In most cases BikeWalkKC personnel will deliver and setup the exhibit. Please allow for approximately 1-2 hours for setup.

    BikeWalkKC will return to teardown the exhibit and return it to our office. Please allow approximately 1-2 hours for tear-down.
  • The Home Sweet Home exhibit is intended for community projects and events that demonstrate how re-configuring a street can slow traffic, improve safety, and create new public spaces for people.
  • Please note, we can provide limited technical assistance on a case-by-case basis. Additional support may be available for a fee. Please explain your needs and we will be in touch to discuss further.
    The Home Street Home exhibit is designed to be accessible and interesting to a wide audience including child-friendly activities. It includes five "stations" each with a separate theme and activity. The exhibit is scalable and configurable so that it can easily be adapted to different locations and purposes.     The exhibit can be set up vertically with included frames, or set up flat on a tabletop surface.

    Please note that depending on the nature of event and type of organization there may be a deposit required to secure the equipment, fees associated with renting the equipment, and proof of event and liability insurance naming BikeWalkKC as an additionally insured party.
