SUMMARY:18th Street Bridge Replacement Open House
DESCRIPTION:The Kansas Department of Transportation is conducting a study to evaluate improvement alternatives to replace the 18th Street Expressway (US-69) Bridge over the Kansas River. Please join us for a public information open house to learn more about the study and provide input on the draft alternatives being considered. This is an important opportunity to speak up for safe bike/ped connections across the Kansas River and connections to the growing levee trail system being developed by KCK. \nRepresentatives from KDOT and members from the project team will be available to answer your questions. \nStop by anytime between 5-7pm. There will be no formal presentation. \nIf you require special assistance at the open house\, please contact Kelsey Heavin at 816-527-2468 or kheavin@hntb.com. \nKDOT has not yet provided an online alternative for attending this public meeting. We anticipate they might do so after Thursday\, but encourage people who care about this issue to stop by the meeting.
