DESCRIPTION:Learn more		\n			\n	\n\n\n	The City of Basehor has recently undertaken two important and transformative transportation improvement projects: the 155th Street Reconstruction project and the 158th Street Trail project. The momentum behind these projects represents a strong desire and commitment from the city to improve transportation connectivity throughout Basehor. \nBasehor Connected is an ongoing initiative that will use the progress and momentum created from these two projects to pursue future transportation enhancements throughout the city\, all focused on creating a network that connects people and places\, efficiently\, comfortably\, and safely. \nThe first public open house will share updates about the 155th Street Reconstruction and the 158th Street Trail. Join the project team at this open house to learn more and give feedback. \nMarch 2\, 2022 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.\nBasehor-Linwood High School CTE Building\n2108 N. 155th Street\, Basehor\, Kansas 66007 \nThe 155th Street Reconstruction project extends north from Wolf Creek Parkway to the entrance of Legacy Senior Apartments. The project corridor is approximately 1.5 miles long and will include a new roundabout and protected pedestrian crossing at the Parallel Road intersection. \nThe 158th Street Trail project begins just north of Garden Parkway and extends to Parallel Road. The project boundary also includes the section of Parallel Road from 159th Street to the west and the 155th Street intersection to the east.
