Get funding for improvements in your neighborhood though PIAC. Deadline is August 31.
The Public Improvement Advisory Committee (PIAC) receives applications for all manner of capital improvement projects each year. This is a key opportunity to ask for improvements to the built environment in your neighborhood, and can include projects that help with sidewalk and ADA improvements, new signage and streetlights, and upgraded park facilities.
The PIAC process can be a bit confusing. BikeWalkKC hosted a virtual “What’s a PIAC?” program, and you can watch it to learn more about the process, and to hear from PIAC representatives.
Please consider submitting your PIAC applications on key projects to help build more places for people in KCMO! If you have questions about the process or your application, reach out to piac@kcmo.org or call (816) 513-1062.
