BikeWalkKC is assisting the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) and its partners with a regional effort to document, promote, and showcase nature-based projects through a new Green Infrastructure Playbook and Atlas.
What kinds of projects are considered?
The initiative will showcase many different types of green infrastructure projects, including projects that are central to BikeWalkKC’s mission: complete streets, trails, greenways, and other active transportation initiatives.
No project is too small or too large to be considered for the Playbook or the Atlas; ideal projects will build upon nearby investments and existing momentum, and enhance regional transportation connectivity.
