2019 Annual Meeting

Join us for the first-ever BikeWalkKC Annual Meeting! Join in the fun and festivities with fellow members, celebrate 2018 and get updates on what’s happening in 2019, enjoy great food and drink, and let US thank YOU, our valued members who power the movement for better biking and walking in the KC metro.

Our program will include:

  • Presentation by BikeWalkKC staff on 2019 priorities
  • Guest presenters on regional projects
    • Brian Shields from the City of Overland Park will provide an update on Overland Park’s Bicycle Master Plan and the implementation process.
    • Joe Blankenship from the City of Kansas City, MO will provide an update on the KCMO Bike Plan.
  • Awards and prizes
    • Community Partner of the Year
    • Volunteer of the Year
    • Bike/Ped Project of the Year – vote for your favorite!
  • Time for you to ask questions and provide feedback
  • A celebration and a toast to the year ahead

How to get there

  • By bike: Bringing your own bike? Spokes is a bike shop founded by cyclists, so of course there’s ample bike parking! (Please bring your own lock.) OR, grab a RideKC Bike from one of the stations or hubs around downtown.
  • By transit: RideKC has several routes serving Downtown; click here to plan your route (yes, you CAN put your bike on the bus and streetcar!).
  • By car: There is ample street parking near Spokes; click here to view their parking recommendations.
