Business, technical, and implementation planning for public bike share systems.

Bike Parking Planning
BikeWalkKC will help customers navigate Kansas City’s bike parking standards and permits, recommend quality bike racks to best meet their needs, and offer free site-visits. Installation is also available for an additional fee. BikeWalkKC can even help with customized bike parking designs.

Comprehensive Safe Routes program for fifteen elementary schools including planning, technical assistance, and policy. Student programs include BLAST, Bike Club/Youth Ambassadors, and Earn-a-Bike.

Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, Kansas City, MO – 2016
Provided Youth and Adult Education BLAST/Earn-A-Bike programs in two Kansas City, MO Housing Authorities communities.

Hope Faith Ministries, Kansas City, MO – 2016
Led Earn-A-Bike course for homeless and impoverished adults, leading to development of mentorship program and in-shelter bike facilities.

Operation Breakthrough, Kansas City, MO – 2016
BLAST training for youth and adults, group ride for visually impaired adults.

BLAST and Earn-a-Bike offered in multiple elementary schools.

Kansas City, KS Health Department 
Safe Routes to School planning and training for four elementary schools. Scope included drop-off/pick-up analysis, Walking School Bus training, program planning, and policy review.

Lawrence – March 2016
More than 300 fourth- and fifth-graders at four Lawrence elementary schools completed BLAST training through our mobile education classrooms.

Kansas City Public Schools – 2013-2016
District transportation policy review. School travel plans and BLAST youth bike education at James Elementary School. Funded by Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City.

Hickman Mills and North Kansas City School Districts – 2012- 2016
BLAST programs at multiple schools.

Kansas City, KS Public Schools – May 2013
BLAST programming at two school sites: Frank Rushton (in partnership with Children’s Mercy Hospital) and ME Pearson (in partnership with FreeWheels for Kids and Menorah Legacy Foundation).

Kansas City B-cycle – July 2012-present
Planned, designed, and implemented a nonprofit, privately-funded bike share system in downtown Kansas City.

Community Advocacy Training for KCK neighborhood leaders.
