Traffic Calming Lending Library

Traffic calming makes streets safer for people who walk and bike by reducing the speed at which cars travel. BikeWalkKC has materials available for individuals and organizations to use for traffic calming demonstrations, pop-ups, better block, and tactical urbanism events. Materials include traffic cones, curb stops, traffic signs, and more.

The Traffic Calming Lending Library is available to anyone in the Greater Kansas City area and Western Missouri. It was funded by a Plan4Health grant to the Missouri chapter of the American Planning Association and our peers at Trailnet in St. Louis. Additional lending libraries are located in Columbia and St. Louis.

If you are interested in checking out the materials, please contact consulting@bikewalkkc.org.
