BikeWalkKC’s popular Women-Only Confident City Cycling series returns for its first installment in 2017. Join us on Tuesday evenings in May for a safe and supportive place to learn bike handling skills, rules of the road, and other tips and tricks - by women, for women. When: Confident City Cycling is a three-class series held on Tuesday evenings in May from 6:00-8:30PM:  May 9, May 16, and May 23. The Seventh Annual Tour de Bier KC bike ride returns on May 14th, 2017, and registration is NOW OPEN! Click here to register. This year we are making some exciting changes, including taking the long route to Crane Brewing in Raytown, a great location right on the future Rock Island Trail and Katy Trail Trail connector. With increased interest in healthy, sustainable and economic transportation options, it’s not surprising that, from 2000 to 2013, the number of bicycle commuters in the U.S. grew by more than 62 percent.
