Youth Bicycle Safety

BikeWalkKC offers several opportunities to give your children the skills and confidence to bicycle safely through the neighborhood or on the way to school. Some programming even empowers young children to perform routine maintenance on the families bicycle fleet! Our youth bicycle safety programs are designed to teach many valuable skills in a way that caters to the unique learning needs of children.

If you would like to set up one of these super-fun workshops follow these easy steps:

  • Fill out the Request a Class form
  • Recruit a group of about 5 awesome kids!
  • Help us promote the session
  • Designate 1-2 responsible adults to be in attendance

We like organizing groups to have at least 5 guaranteed students. But don't worry, we'll provide you with flyers and promotional materials to recruit your friends, neighbors and fellow parents. Parent volunteers will be handsomely rewarded with awesome BikeWalkKC swag!
