Speak up for bike/ped integration with Rock Island corridor transit stations

Planning is underway for trail and transit along the old Rock Island railroad in southeast Kansas City, including the final piece of the KC to Katy Trail connection and commuter rail. You can have your say on October 22nd and 23rd at two different planning charrettes.

This is your opportunity to support things like

  • Bike lanes and sidewalks to connect neighborhoods to the transit stations.
  • Neighborhood trail connections to the main regional trail
  • Bike share at train stations
  • Bus service to/from stations

Monday, October 22nd - 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Focus on station areas in Downtown Raytown, Noland Road at 350 Highway, and View High Drive at I-470.

Raytown City Hall, 10000 East 59th Street, Raytown, MO

Tuesday, October 23rd - 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Focust on station areas in Greenwood and Pleasant Hill
Memorial Building, 212 Cedar Street, Pleasant Hill, MO
