Michael Forbes was killed by a distracted driver on June 30th near the town of Levasy in rural northeastern Jackson County. The crash is still under investigation as police analyze the driver’s cell phone records. BikeWalkKC is following the case.

Memorial Service
Friday, July 6, 6-8 p.m.
Eastside Baptist Church
19901 East 78 Highway, Independence, MO
The church is located on 23rd Street (78 Highway) east of 291 Hwy.

A memorial ride will take place before the service, leaving the church at 5:00 p.m. It will be an eight mile ride at a slow pace and with police escort.
