More than 70 of KC's hardest working volunteers helped us build the first 90 bikes for our upcoming Kansas City B-cycle bike sharing project. It was amazing to see and hear the excitment that you have for bike sharing in Kansas City, and how hard you are willing to work to make it happen. We are building the future of this city with our very own hands!
We spent a full evening unpacking, assembling, decorating, and test riding. With the help of these amazing volunteers we made huge progress. If you missed it, don't worry! Stay tuned for another work night to finish the job.
Kansas City B-cycle Update
Our B-stations are scheduled for installation the last week of June, with B-cycles being available for check out the first week of July. We hope to begin online membership sales by mid-June. More information is at bikesharekc.com.
