Car-Free Christmas in the Park - Dec 22

A 25 year tradition is going car-free! Jackson County’s annual drive-through light display at Longview Lake is welcoming people on bikes for an exclusive trip through the 3 mile course featuring more than 300,000 lights and 100-plus animated figures. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema

KC’s newest and most unique movie experience had re-opened after a month-long renovation of the historic Main Street Theater. It's the coolest place to see those holiday blockbusters - plus a range of cult classics and exclusive cinema experiences. Alamo features indoor valet bike parking - just bring your bike inside and right up to the ticket counter. BikeWalkKC members also enjoy 10% off food and soft drinks delivered to your seat - just show your orange member card.

Take a Walk - and Discover 18th and Vine

On December 14-16 members of BikeWalkKC can get an intimate firsthand look at the historic 18th and Vine area. During the eras of segregation, prohibition and the Great Depression, 18th and Vine area was one of the most thriving destinations in the nation. Gangsters, athletes and entertainers flocked to this historic district that would shape the culture of our nation by initiating the civil rights movement and creating a musical legacy that would impact the entire world.
