Travel with BikeWalkKC to Missouri Capitol Day on April 11th

On April 11th Missourians who care about walking and biking will converge on the State Capitol for the annual Bike/Ped Capitol Day organized by the Missouri Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation. BikeWalkKC is helping folks from the Kansas City area organize carpooling Jefferson City. If we get enough interest we may organize a van for everyone.

Schedule for April 11th
8:00 a.m. - Leave Kansas City
11:00 a.m. to Noon - Check-in, registration, and lunch
12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Legislator's Ride to the Katy Trail and back to Capitol (optional)
1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Legislator visits
4:30 p.m. - Depart Jeff City
7:30 p.m. - Arrive back in KC

State Transportation Funding Policy
We encourage state leaders to create a comprehensive, integrated state-wide transportation funding policy that includes robust support for walking, biking, transit, and local multi-modal priorities.
